Kenya in general is a good safari destination that you can visit throughout the year, but the peak season for the safaris from Nairobi is starting July to October. The Wildebeests Migration in the Masai Mara is at its peak during that time. From Mid-December, January  February too are considered as peak season.

The months of June, November to Mid-December with short rains being experienced at that time as well as the month of March are considered shoulder season.

The Months of April and May are our long rains season and therefore the Low or Green Season. This time there are less crowds in the parks and the hotels, lodges and tented camps offer the special green season rates thus giving you an opportunity to travel ‘luxury’ at very competitive prices.
