2 Days Kenya Safari starting from Mombasa Itinerary
Mombasa / Diani Beach – Tsavo East
Pick up at around 07.00 Hrs if you are staying at a beach hotel / resort in Mombasa or 06.00 Hrs if you are staying in Diani Beach and we will set off towards the Tsavo East National Park along the Mombasa – Nairobi Highway. You will make a brief stop on the way for a cup of coffee and visit the bathrooms if you wish.
Around 100 Km from Mombasa we arrive at the Gate where we register and enter Tsavo East National Park through the Bachuma Gate from from where you will start your first game drive straight away. Your private safari guide will lead you to the best areas to spot wildlife as you move towards your lodge where you will check in and settle for lunch. Your lodge has a waterhole which draws wildlife like elephants, zebras, gazelles and other animals which gather to drink especially during the dry season.
After your lunch and some rest at your lodge you will head out for your afternoon game drive around Tsavo East fondly referred by wildlife safari enthusiasts as the ‘theater of the wild’ in search of the animals including Buffaloes, Cheetahs, elephants, Gazelles, leopards, lions, zebras among others . Later in the afternoon around 06.00 Pm you will check in back at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo East Safari – Drive back to Mombasa
On this day you got all the flexibility and choice to go for an early morning game drive starting from 06.00 Hrs if you do not mind waking up early. Perfect time to watch the nocturnal animal species as they retire from a night out of hunting, it is also a good time to see even the diurnal species as mostly to graze along the game driving tracks to avoid the morning dew.
At around 08.00 Hrs you will be taken back to your lodge for breakfast. After a hearty breakfast you will check out and head out of the park with game viewing along the way. Your private safari guide will take you back to the Kenya Coast. Depending on where you are staying, you will be dropped at Mombasa, Diani Beach or the Northern beaches of Watamu or Malindi.
