12 Day Kenya & Tanzania Safari Combined tour

On your arrival into Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by our Representative /driver who will transfer you to a hotel in the city for your first overnight in East Africa. Overnight at Trademark Hotel. Bed and breakfast.

Wake up early for an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, then head to Lake Nakuru National Park via Nyahururu and Laikipia plateau with a brief stop at the Equator point. We arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at the lodge/tented camp. After lunch the afternoon will be spent doing game drives and sightseeing in this world famous home of the colorful flamingos and the rare Rothschild giraffes and white rhinos. Apart from many animal species including buffalos, zebras, baboons, impalas and many more. Lake Nakuru is also home for more than 400 bird’s species. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. All meals included.

If staying inside the park at a lodge lodge located inside Lake Nakuru National Park, we can go for an early morning game drive in the park, and after breakfast we depart towards Masai Mara with a stop at Lake Naivasha if you wish.

With lunch on the way or on arrival at your camp / lodge, we will arrive in time for an afternoon safari game drive in the Masai Mara, that will go on until late afternoon, when you will be taken to your  camp. You will check in for a refreshing shower, followed by dinner at your lodge. If you wish you may sit around the campfire as  you sip your favorite drink, while sharing stories about your safari day and highlights of the day.

Early morning game drives in Masai Mara Game Reserve (if you wish) before going back to the lodge/camp for breakfast. After breakfast we go for a full day of game viewing in the savannah plains and around the river where most animals converge resulting to animal action to the delight of visitors in this world famous wildlife Reserve. Lunch can be taken back at the lodge/ camp or we may as well leave in the morning with lunch boxes. Masai Mara is famous for the wildebeests Migration and depending on the time of travel we may be lucky to witness this amazing natural phenomenon. Overnight at Base Camp Masai Mara. All meals included.

After breakfast on this day we check out of the lodge/camp and drive to Isebania border. After obtaining visa we enter Tanzania through Sirare border point on the Tanzanian side and drive to Speke’s Bay in Lake Victoria where you will check in at the Speke Bay Lodge for a relaxed afternoon. In this afternoon you will spend time relaxing and if you wish you can take a swim at the warm waters of Lake Victoria. Other optional activity includes a visit to the Sukuma Tribe villages, Visit to a traditional healer, or traditional fishing in a dugout canoe. Dinner and overnight at Speke Bay Lodge or similar.  All meals included.

Early morning you will head out for a traditional fishing expedition in the Lake Victoria returning for  breakfast at the lodge then we set off for the Serengeti National Park. We enter Serengeti through Ndabaka Gate and drive through the western corridor with game drives en route towards the central Serengeti The rest of the day will be spent doing game drives in the endless plains of Serengeti until later in the afternoon when we drive to Tukaone Serengeti Camp for dinner and overnight. If you wish you may go for a sunset game drive at dawn before taking breakfast at the lodge/camp. Leaving with a packed lunch box in the morning we will spend the whole day in the Serengeti Plains game viewing in search of the animals that we might have missed out in Masai Mara. The Wildebeests Migration herds migrate between the two parks and here we may be able to spot them if missed at Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Serengeti is famous for an abundance of wildlife and countless birds’ species. With luck we may also spot the safari Big Five; Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards and Rhinos. Dinner and overnight is Tukaone Serengeti Camp. All meals included

Breakfast at the lode/camp then we check out and start on our way to Ngorongoro Conservation area entering through Naabi Hill Gate. After registration at the gate we will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater rim with a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge is an important archaeological is in Africa where the fossils of an early man was discovered by Dr Leakey and his wife. The discoveries led to the evolution theory that suggest that the early man lived in Africa , and Africa is the cradle of mankind. At the Crater rim after lunch at the lodge we can relax for the rest of the afternoon or go for a nature walk in the forests guided by an armed ranger. Overnight is at Marera Valley Lodge at Karatu just nearby, outside the NCA.

This morning we take a breakfast box if you wish so that we can descend early enough at the floor of The Ngorongoro Crater before the crowds, for a more rewarding game drive in the eighth wonder of the world. We will do a game drives for the whole day with lunch being served at the hippos poolside picnic site then continue with game viewing until later in the afternoon when we drive up and out of the Conservation Area for dinner and overnight at Marera Lodge in Karatu Area. All meals included.

After breakfast at your lodge we drive down the Rift Valley walls with a briestp at the view point (if you wish) to enjoy great views of the Lake Manyara below. You will proceed via the colorful Mto wa Mbu township where you may also make a stop to mingle with the locals at the market, and then head to Tarangire National Park.

We will take lunch boxes with us and so the day will be spent doing game drives in the Tarangire, famous for the large herds of elephants and plains dotted with large baobab trees. 

The Tarangire River cuts across the park and the river ensures the constant supply of water throughout the year but the river bank also makes a great game viewing area especially during the drier months when many animals tend to graze and browse near the banks. This also draws the predators like lions, leopards and cheetahs to the area, making the area an amazing wildlife viewing area. Later in the afternoon you will be taken to your camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight at The Baobab Tarangire  Camp. All meals included.

Time at leisure after breakfast at the lodge/tented camp then check out and drive out of the park with game viewing on the way, and drive to Arusha where the safari package ends.

At Arusha and depending on your schedule you will take an afternoon Schedule Bust back to Nairobi, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home or a connection flight to Nairobi.
